The Latrobe City Business Chamber is pleased to announce its Annual Golf Day Charity Event, scheduled for Friday, 13th March 2026, at the Yallourn Golf Club. This year’s event aims to bring the local business community together to raise vital funds for Lifeline Gippsland, supporting their life-saving crisis support and suicide prevention services.
The event features a relaxed 9-hole, 3-person Ambrose format, specifically chosen to ensure inclusivity. Organisers emphasise that the day is designed for participants of all skill levels, from weekend warriors to those who have never stepped onto a golf course.
“Our annual charity golf day event is about more than just sport, it’s about coming together as a community,” says Peter Ceeney, President of the Latrobe City Business Chamber. “We wanted to create an environment where local businesses can disconnect from the daily grind, network in a beautiful outdoor setting and contribute to a cause that touches so many lives in our region.”
Participants will enjoy a 1pm arrival for networking, followed by a 2pm tee-off. The afternoon includes hot and cold canapés and the chance to win door prizes donated by Yallourn Golf Club. Representatives from Lifeline Gippsland will be in attendance to share insights into their local impact.
Tickets are priced at $55 per person. The Chamber welcomes individual registrations and will facilitate team placements for solo attendees. For community members unable to attend the event in person, a dedicated donation portal has been established to allow for direct contributions to Lifeline Gippsland via the event booking page.
